This is the 3rd time in a month that i’ve listed Joe’s first generation iPhone on Ebay. The first listing was won by a con artist in Nigeria. I’d gone to the post office late in the day – had the iPhone packaged and paid for postage and gotten a tracking number to send to the buyer. It wasn’t until i got home to submit the tracking number that i felt suspicious of a couple of emails apparently sent from Ebay and Paypal. My suspicions proved correct – i went to the post office first thing the next morning and pulled the item from being shipped and got my $70 in postage back. Thank god I’d visited the post office late the previous day and thereby missing the daily pick-up.
The next listing incurred an ebay buyer violation. The buyer clicked the ‘buy now’ option and then reneged.
